Are All Organic or "All Natural" Shampoos Sulfate Free?

 

It has been said, at a minimum, sodium lauryl sulfate is a skin irritant, at its worse, it has been said to cause cancer or hormonal imbalance. It is hard to know for sure. Often it just comes down to who is funding the study. It is an ester of Sulfuric acid. What I can tell you is that SLS is the same foaming agent used in many automotive cleaners. Seems to be a bit of overkill just to clean your hair, doesn’t it? Is there a safer solution? We believe there is.

 

Try our best all natural shampoos and then tell us if you feel the difference. Remember that just because a all natural shampoo claims to be natural doesn’t mean it is sodium lauryl sulfate free. Check that label!
