First Impressions

I love it - the look is great. The labels are very attractive and easy to read and all the products have a nice fragrance, but not too overwhelming. I am definitely looking forward to reviewing this product line.

How I used it

How did I use it? I lathered, scrubbed, rubbed and massaged my way through this product review. I covered every square inch of my body, every crevice and corner. And I have to say, I love these products!

The body wash is fantastic. I love the peppermint, it's invigorating with just enough lather to feel like it is doing its job but still rinses easily, unlike many other brands. It left my body tingling all over; it is a great way to wake up in the morning.

The shampoo lathers appropriately, but not so much you feel like you have to rinse for an hour; and the conditioner the same. The fragrance of both was nice and subtle yet not overwhelming.

The lotion did its job plus. It absorbed so fast that it almost felt like I didn't put it on, I am definitely going to need a bigger bottle.

The lip balm is by far the best balm I have ever used, hands down. It goes on smoothly and leaves a wonderful peppermint sensation. The other day I thought I lost my lip balm so as I was digging through my bedroom drawer looking for it I came across two Burt's Bees lip balm, my number one choice for the past couple of years, and quickly tossed them aside. Frantically I thought I must have lost it, but then I remembered that I probably left it in my pants pocket. I think I already have a little addiction!

Overall, I love the body wash, lotion, shampoo and lip balm; matter of fact, I will be heading to the web site after I finish my review products to purchase more! But for me the conditioner didn't quite do what I needed. To be fair I have extremely dry hair so my review could be slightly skewed, but hey, 4 out of 5 is pretty darn good.

How does Mother Earth feel about his product?

Well, I am pretty confident Mother Earth appreciates anybody that is raising bees given our current bee crisis. Not to mention the fact that there are no added preservatives in their products, no sulfates, no paraben, not even formaldehyde, which considering the fact that I am not looking to be embalmed is probably a good thing.

Beecology is strongly committed to the environment as stated on their web site:

And to top it off Beecology is committed to giving back:

That is all great stuff -I get the sense that Mother Earth is smiling.

Is it a Healthy Product?

For starters, I can pronounce all the ingredients in each product and that in itself is saying something. Given the fact that Beecology is committed to producing the highest quality products that do no harm to animal or human pretty much says it all.

How does this product impact my wallet?

Well, it is pricey compared to your standard products; you know, the ones that contain formaldehyde, sulfates and all those other cancer-causing ingredients. Hey, your health is worth it, the facts are in the latest studies report that beauty products can be directly linked to cancer, so yes it is worth it.

Would I recommend this product to a friend?

You bet! I love this stuff. I clearly am addicted to the lip balm and have banned anyone else in my household from using the body wash and lotion! So, all I can say is get your own!
